What is a Friends & Familiy Fundraiser? Friends & Family Fundraisers(also known as Third-Party Fundraising Events) are fundraisers that benefit The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter but are not organized, funded or put on by the Chapter.  Third-Party Events are a GREAT way to have fun and benefit the ALS community at the same time.  Anyone can do it; you can help support our mission of helping people with ALS by fundraising for The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter. People generally find individual fundraising to be an empowering, rewarding adventure. How will Chapter staff participate? Because of the volume of these requests, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to personally participate in Third-Party Events.  We cannot staff your event as we are involved in our year round fundraising efforts: the Hearts of Hope Dinner & Auction, the ALS DoubleDay bike ride, and the Walk to Defeat ALS program.  These events, along with other fundraisers and awareness events support the Chapter’s all important services to ALS patients and their families.  We can help with some promotion of your event via email and our website on our Third-Party Fundraising page.  We’ll also provide some Chapter materials.  Make your requests by calling the Chapter office: 425-656-1650 or emailing us at info@alsa-ec.org.  We’d love to announce and post pictures of your event on our Third-Party Fundraising page. Can the Chapter help to cover the costs of our event? No, our event expenses are budgeted in advance for the events the Chapter runs.  We can not be responsible for any expenses incurred for a Third-Party Event.
