Fight ALS.

I help and fundraise because Cindy was not just any supervisor, she was someone who cared and helped you grow as a person.  She became a dear friend.  My brother-in-law also passed away from ALS about six months after Cindy did.  I also do this for all those who are fighting this fight today!   Join me today by joining in this fight.

I’ve been part of organizing this bike ride since it started and have a passion to help continue this ride.  I’ve been amazed at how many Hecla families and friends of Cindy’s have continued to support this cause. Thank you. Astonishing over the past years I’ve been amazed how many employees of Hecla, friends, people I have shared with, and my own family have been touched by someone stricken by ALS.

With COVID19 we were asked to change our bike ride to a virtual ride.  This is a challenging year yet I still plan on continuing to fundraise to help those in need.  With the added COVID on top of ALS makes things for the ALS patients more dangerous. Let's continue the fight against ALS with the ride that my friend Cindy Moore started, The Silver Valley Ride to Defeat ALS, known as "Cindy's Ride" The Silver Valley Ride to Defeat ALS even though it is a virtual ride, just means we can do this from anywhere and take pictures to share. We need your support to make our efforts really matter! Let’s keep Cindy’s spirit alive and celebrate her life in a cause that personally touched her. Let’s continue to fight for those who are affected by ALS.
