The Basics
The Ride to Defeat ALS occurs on roads open to motor vehicle traffic. Please use extreme caution and obey all rules of the road.

Always wear a helmet. If you think you look silly in a helmet, don’t worry, there will be hundreds of others looking silly right there with you.

Please remember to call out "on your left" when passing another rider.

Rules of the Road
In Idaho, cyclists have the right to share the road with motor vehicles. Cyclists must use the bicycle lane if there is one present; otherwise, cyclists must ride as close as practicable to the right-hand curb. They must ride with traffic flow on all public roads.  Riders must ride only two wide and we request single file along Dry Creek Road as it is winding road and difficult for motorists to see you. “Idaho Stop Law” allows bicyclists to treat a stop sign as a yield sign (slow down), and a red light as a stop sign. Proceed only when it is safe.  Be vigilant for your safety.  Being predictable makes the road safer for everyone.
